I am interested in combatting antimicrobial resistance through the intersection of synthetic chemistry and microbiology. Specifically, I am investigating novel therapeutic strategies to tackle resistant bacteria, while embracing the complex interplay between these pathogens and the intricate world of the gut microbiota.
